The full detail

A closer look at each step

1

Complete your intake form

After payment, you complete a secure intake form. This gives Simple Sleep Tests the information needed to coordinate your home sleep test, device shipment, device support, and physician review.

A home sleep test is not right for every situation. If the intake form shows that another step may be needed first, Simple Sleep Tests may pause the order and contact you before moving forward.

Depending on the situation, the test may still move forward, or we may recommend a different next step, such as speaking with your doctor or considering an in-lab sleep study.

2

The device we currently use

Simple Sleep Tests currently uses the SANSA by Huxley home sleep apnea test. SANSA is an FDA-cleared home sleep apnea test designed to be worn while you sleep at home.

This means you do not need to spend the night in a sleep lab for this type of test.

Testing devices and workflows may change over time based on clinical review, shipping, availability, and testing partner requirements.

3

Your device ships to your home

Eligibility is reviewed before fulfillment. If a home sleep test is appropriate, the device is shipped to the address you provide.

When SANSA is used, the device ships directly from Huxley Medical after the required order and patient information are submitted and eligibility has been reviewed.

Most devices arrive within 5 to 7 business days after the order and intake information are complete and cleared for fulfillment.

Patients who opt in during the device provider's initial outreach may receive text message updates during the shipment and testing process.

A discreet package arrives at your front door — no lab visit required.

4

Wear the device overnight

You follow the included instructions and wear the home sleep test device while you sleep.

If you need help setting up or using the device, the device provider handles device-specific support. When SANSA is used, Huxley Medical provides device-specific support, including 24/7 phone support.

Simple Sleep Tests helps coordinate the testing process, but device setup support is handled by the device provider.

5

Physician review

After you complete the test, your sleep data is made available through a secure testing platform for physician review.

When SANSA is used, the reviewing sleep physician reviews the study data through Huxley's secure platform and prepares the report.

Typical status updates

  • Your test data has been recorded
  • The reviewing physician has been notified that the study is ready for review
  • The physician review is complete
  • Your final report is ready

Results are typically available within about 3 business days after the completed test data is ready for physician review.

Timing can vary if additional information, device support, or another testing step is needed.

6

Your report and next steps

Once the reviewing sleep physician completes the report, Simple Sleep Tests emails the final sleep study report to you as a PDF attachment.

We also include a short plain-English summary and next-step options based on the physician report.

The physician report is the official interpretation of your sleep study. Simple Sleep Tests helps explain the process and possible next steps, but treatment decisions should be made with an appropriate licensed healthcare provider.

If your report shows that follow-up care may be needed, Simple Sleep Tests can help you find an appropriate sleep treatment provider near you.

You may also choose to take your report back to your own doctor, dentist, or referring provider.
